R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy

Live long and prosper. Those are the most immortalized words of Mr. Spock in which he was played by Leonard Nimoy who is now immortalized as the famous Vulcan. Nimoy died at the age of 83 years old due to end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Of course, a lot of Star Trek fans or trekkies grieved especially that it was the man who played Spock who died. He passed away on February 27 (which was yesterday). I just woke up when I learned the news. I was sad that he died because I'm not a kind of person who get use to when a certain person dies. I mean I used to have Nimoy living in this world but I have to make some few adjustments since he's now gone. I wasn't a big fan of Star Trek but I do admire Star Trek because it has awesome characters and stories and things that they do. Hollywood and Pres. Obama tweeted their statements and reactions regarding the death of Nimoy. His Star Trek co-stars William Shatner and George Takei were the notable ones who shared their reaction on his death. They were good friends of him until his last breath. The new Spock, Zachary Quinto, also shared his reaction regarding his death. The list of celebrities who were sad when he died is very long that I will not tell of them if who is sad but everyone is sad. It is a proof that Spock is an influential and great character for people who are or are not fans of Star Trek. Nimoy had a wonderful career. He played Spock which turns out to be his most famous role that is forever immortalized to him. He also directed Three Men and a Baby, a comedy film from the 80s starring Ted Danson and Tom Selleck. He had a recurring role on Fringe. His last known work is on Star Trek Into Darkness where he appeared as Spock Prime. During his post-Star Trek career, Nimoy became also a voice artist in which he did a lot of voice works in some movies like Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Now, I want to know what is Sheldon Cooper's reaction regarding this.

I was very saddened when I found out about his death. I cannot simply describe it in words. I made a tribute to him on my Facebook page (look for it) because I want to share how he and Spock changed pop culture forever. He made the first nerd in the universe. I don't know if we should credit the creator of Star Trek on his fame but the creator made the character with Nimoy interpreting the character. Nimoy made a great job on the interpretation of Spock and he became popular. Anyway, I don't have an autograph of Mr. Nimoy which is also sad because I could just have a souvenir of him just like the late Robin Williams and Joan Rivers. But, he is now resting in peace and live long and prosper in heaven. We will always remember Leonard Nimoy not just only as Spock but as a very kind man. I've heard a lot of stories about his kindness to his fans. Anyway, I will leave you all with his final tweet which has deemed by a lot of people as perfect. His last word to all his fans was the best. Now, here's his final tweet which was tweeted days before he died: "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"
