As I promise, I'm back! It's currently my Christmas break at school so it means that I will be able to post new articles again here in this blog. But, this stint of writing will be good for two weeks only as my Christmas break is within two weeks only so this is like a limited engagement blog writing. I'm going to post here only until January 4, 2015. Then, after January 4, I'm going to be in hiatus again until March 2015 (tentative date). But, in short, I'm back on writing in this blog daily again for a limited time until January 4 so be happy for that. During my hiatus, a lot of things happened in Hollywood. Some of them are good news while some of them are bad news. For good news, I'm talking about the exciting first trailer of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the return of The Comeback. For bad news, well, I'm talking about the Sony hacking and The Interview controversy that is trending all over Hollywood and even The White House. Anyway, tomorrow, I'm going to post an article about my rants about the Sony controversy especially my thoughts about cancelling the theatrical release of The Interview. Since the controversy started, I really wanted to write an article about it because the issue angered me so much that I'm tweeting a lot about the controversy. For me, freedom of speech is important and no one should interfere about it and I'm also mad that Sony decided to cancel the release of the movie because it just shows that we are coward and we let the hackers win. Now, the hackers are impressed and happy about what Sony did. North Korea, you made a mistake and the world will fight back against you. Anyway, just wait for my article tomorrow to see the rest of my thoughts about the issue.
Some of you might also be familiar about the Facebook page that I made which is "Michael's Hollywood Zone". It currently has a modest number of likes and there are even few strangers that I didn't know personally who liked my page. So, if you have a non-spammed Facebook account, please like my page so that you will be updated on what is happening around Hollywood and learn a lot about my pop culture expertise. It's like my textbook about pop culture but it's more digital and user-friendly since all people are into digital and social media. Another exciting thing is that Christmas is coming. That is the time when we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the sleigh of Santa Claus. I don't know if a lot of kids still believe on Santa Claus but he is real if you think lovely thoughts (that's a Peter Pan Live! reference right there). Since when I was young, I'm familiar about Santa Claus but I didn't even mind to believe on him because I grew up on a culture in which Jesus Christ is the importance of Christmas and not Santa Claus. But, I adore that a figure like Santa Claus will lighten up the spirit of Christmas of every kids. Since this is just my comeback post, I'm not going to write an article about Christmas because it's not yet the day of Christmas. Another happenings during my hiatus is the live airing of Peter Pan Live! starring Allison Williams, Christian Borle, Kelli O'Hara, Taylor Louderman, Minnie Driver and Christopher Walken. Since I actually watched the live telecast, I was able to live tweet about it. Some of them are positive and some of them are rants about Christopher Walken and the crocodile. But, that musical has massive effect on my musical mind. I'm starting to actually like the songs in the musical like "I Won't Grow Up", "Hook's Waltz", "I Gotta Crow" and "I'm Flying". I mean all of those songs are great. You should listen to them. It made me imagine myself as Peter Pan or Captain Hook or both like what Christian Borle did when he played both Smee and Mr. Darling.
Thank you all for your patience during my hiatus and I hope that you were able to read my archive as you can find a lot of good articles that I wrote (even though some of them are just copy and paste). This is the official start of my two week limited engagement blogging while I'm on Christmas break. I'm now posting again in this blog daily (although there might be days that I will not write due to my busy doings). But, even though I didn't post an article during my hiatus, I'm still posting/updating in my autograph collection website since it is only active if I received an autograph from a celebrity. Once again, Merry Christmas to all and let's celebrate my comeback and officially begin my two week limited engagement blogging.
