This Sunday evening (or Monday early morning in my time zone) is the BAFTA Awards which is the penultimate awards show to the Oscars. It will reveal the chances of Julianne Moore, J.K. Simmons and Patricia Arquette if their chances of winning an Oscar is really a hundred percent sure. Michael Keaton and Eddie Redmayne are still fighting on who will win the Oscar due to the mixed results in the course of the awards season. But, remember that the voters of BAFTA are British so they will pick an actor who is "one-of-their-kind". It might change the race in some categories whatever the result is. It is pretty exciting because the Oscars is coming and we are now feeling chills with the BAFTAs coming. Jake Gyllenhaal and Emma Stone are not expected to attend because of their Broadway duties while the rest are expected to attend. Stephen Fry will host once again and I hope that he received or signed my autograph photo request while in the middle of preparing on hosting the BAFTA Awards. Steve Carell is nominated for the supporting race instead of leading and his performance was praised even though he didn't win some awards but those are for leading as he is running for supporting this time so J.K. Simmons should get worried on his chances of winning a BAFTA. Last year, the BAFTA Awards didn't handed trophies to Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o. Two years ago, the BAFTA Awards didn't handed a trophy to Jennifer Lawrence. So, there is a high chance that the results in the acting categories might not reflect the Oscars after all but Moore, Simmons and Arquette are expected to win by the way. Anyway, here is my prediction and I hope that they will all match. Also, good luck for the nominees.
