My 87th Academy Awards Predictions

This coming Sunday night (or Monday morning in my time zone) is the 87th Academy Awards which is considered as the final awards show during the awards season. It is the ultimate awards show of all because it is considered as the highest film award giving body as it has been awarding movies and stars for almost nine decades. Neil Patrick Harris will host this year's Oscars and he is currently doing the best he can to make the ceremony awesome and he is hoping that he can do a "selfie-like" moment. A lot of people are now sharing their prediction and this year's ceremony will be considered as a "not-so-predictable" Oscars because of the winners in previous awards shows. Example, Boyhood won the previous major awards shows but Birdman won the guild awards. So, that is going to be a tricky competition at the Best Picture category. Julianne Moore, Patricia Arquette and J.K. Simmons are already lock for an Oscar win in their respective categories. Eddie Redmayne and Michael Keaton will battle for the Best Actor category. Richard Linklater is expected to win the Best Director category but Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu might steal his Oscar due to his DGA win. Besides the possible winners and things like that, another part of the ceremony that excites the most is the red carpet. Although, I'm not a fan of red carpet shows that will feature the gowns and dresses of female nominees. Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Weekly have released some articles that talks about the votes of some anonymous voters who was able to share their votes. Look for them around the web and those votes could give clue on who will win. Also, I want to promote my Oscars fantasy voting ballot. It is an online voting ballot that I made in which all of us pretend that we are voting for the Oscars. You will just vote on who do you want win at the Oscars. I will announce the winners on Gold Derby forums and my Facebook page "Michael's Hollywood Zone" during the day after the Oscars. Click here to vote. I might not be able to watch Oscars show live since I have school. I will watch the ceremony when I arrive at home. Of course, I will share my reaction in this blog some days after the Oscars. Now, here is my prediction on who will at the Oscars. I call this my fearless prediction because I made research on who might win at Hollywood's glamorous night. So, now, here is my Oscars predictions. I hope that they will match. Also, good luck to all the nominees.
