Helping is my nickname. I used to be a member of an institution that helps people who are homeless and nowhere to live. People call me "Rob" but I prefer them to call me "Robert" which is my actual first name. One day, I was reading an article on the National Geographic magazine about an African tribe who survives without technology. They are living like the era of Marco Polo. They rely on all things that are available in their place which is full of trees and wild animals. After reading the article, I feel sad and terrible for them. They only eat on what is available and they are having a hard time drinking water. I don't know how to help them but there are organizations who are willing to help with them. The problem is that the donations are mandatory and I don't have budget to donate. I can only supervise or help them but I cannot give any financial needs. A few weeks later, I received an e-mail from a man who claims to be the Nigerian prince. He said that he needs donation. I thought that kings and queens doesn't need donations. But, they are from Africa so I thought that they are not as fancy as the Royal family in the United Kingdom. He said that he accepts credit or ATM/debit cards since he doesn't have any bank accounts or can receive the money personally. I entered my ATM card information and donated $50. I know that it's not a lot of money but, at least, I helped some people in Africa. He also claims that the money will be for the citizens of Nigeria. Another thing is that, surprisingly, he knows my name which is Robert P. Knight. After donating, I felt happy. I finally donated to Africa. I don't care if I donated despite my current financial situations. Helping makes God happy.
Two days later, I went to an ATM to withdraw my money for a week's budget. Shockingly, the ATM refuses to withdraw my money because there's no money left. I panicked. It should not be happening. I have some money left in my account. It's impossible. I called the bank and they confirmed that I have no money left in my account. They told me that I did a lot of withdrawal for the past two days. I denied that those are legal transactions. So, they promised to me that they will investigate and to see the cause of losing all my money. I suddenly became angry to the world. Why is it happening to me? Then, I remembered about my donation to the Nigerian prince two days ago. I called the bank immediately and they told to me that the Nigerian prince donation is a scam and they said that it will take three weeks to return my money. They also said that they already reported it to the FBI. I have to borrow money from my friend. I have a lot of debts now. Three weeks later, my money was returned and I paid my debts. A month later, I left the institution that I helped and vowed to never help again because some people take advantage of my help. What if those homeless people are not homeless after all? It is a shame to the Knight clan about the things that I've done. Five months later, the FBI arrested the man behind the Nigerian prince scam. After hearing about the news, I was happy. They deserved to go to jail for what they've done. A week after the arrest of the culprits, I'm now rich. I can now buy things that I want and I now have a girlfriend. Money is the solution to every problem. A lot of people are poor today. Most of them are former middle class people. I felt bad for them but it happened to them and they have no choice since it's their decision. I'm now rich and nobody can stop me.
